Stuttering Composition was created for the 2024 iteration of The Response Project, titled 'Tremor.' This commissioning initiative invited artists who identify as having a disability to respond to their personal experiences. As a person who stutters, I focused on my relationship with my speech and its unique qualities. I discovered that certain aspects, such as texture, rhythm, and vocalizations, often feel quite musical to me, and somtimes even resembling singing.
