812 Dayton St. (2025), a commission from the Cincinnati Preservation Young Preservationists, is an audio experience of the John Hauck House, a Victorian Mansion and the current home of Cincinnati Preservation Association located on Cincinnati’s famed Dayton St. Taking listeners on a 150-year journey from its inception in 1870 to the present day, immersive audio vignettes, creates an experience that examines the lives of those who spent time within its walls: inhabitants, employees, builders, artisans, restorers, and preservers. Half work of art, half audio tour, this piece brings history to life.
